Jugo Juice was founded in 1998 in Calgary, Alberta with the goal to offer consumers a necessary alternative to mainstream fast food. With obesity-related diseases on the rise, and the increasing challenge of finding time to eat healthy in our fast-paced world, Jugo Juice saw smoothies as the medicine chest of the future. Building around this core product, the menu has expanded with consumer demand to include fresh-pressed juice, and grilled wraps and paninis. The ingredients have evolved, and will continue to do so as we educate customers on the benefits of healthy food choices, and ultimately find better and better ways to fulfill their goals for a healthy lifestyle.
Previously of Starbucks Coffee Company, Mr. Brock’s primary role was to ensure that the business had a strong foundation by securing premium real estate for future growth. Since the company’s inception, Derek had taken the vision of Jugo Juice and outlined the key steps that must be achieved to obtain the company’s goals and financial targets. With many years experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, he brought a skill set that was vital to the past and future success of the company.
Jason Cunningham was a leader in the Jugo Juice organization who was a driving force in the creation of the brand, product development, and leadership for franchisees across Canada. Jason's combined experience from organizations such as Starbucks Coffee and Earl's Restaurant, have established a foundation for brand management and system operations.
