Vegetarian Diets
A vegetarian is someone who abstains from the eating of meat.  There are different types of vegetarianism.  A Lacto-ovo vegetarian doesn’t eat meat, poultry, and fish, but will consume eggs and milk.  A Vegan completely abstains from all animal-derived foods including cheese, eggs, milk and butter.

Lacto-Ovo Vegetarians are encouraged to enjoy all Jugo Juice smoothies and beverages.  The Mediterranean Wrap and Breakfast Wrap are excellent vegetarian selections.

Vegans can drink all Jugo Juice smoothies and beverages except Jugo Breakfast, Sunshine Breakfast, Bigwig Breakfast, Berry Binge, Passionate Perfection and Righteous Red which contain yogurt. To enjoy these selections without milk, just ask for a no milk version and we’ll add juice or soy milk instead of yogurt.

All Buzz Smoothies contain frozen yogurt and coffee mix which has milk protein in it.

All the Protein Shakes (except Big Blue Protein) can be made milk free by replacing the whey protein with soy protein. Big Blue Protein is made with frozen yogurt and is not suitable for a vegan.

All Jugo Juice wraps and flatbread paninis contain cheese, meat and animal protein and are therefore not suitable for a vegan.
